Rick Kunz is a distinguished U.S. Coast
Guard veteran and a 23-year member of the
Coast Guard Auxiliary, where he achieved
the equivalent rank of Lieutenant
Commander and served as commander of
9 th Eastern Districts, Division 2, overseeing
flotillas in Oswego, Ithaca, Syracuse,
Brewerton, and Sylvan Beach. He is the
founder and lead consultant of R. Kunz
Consulting, a leadership and professional
development firm specializing in fleet
consulting and training in commercial,
municipal and emergency vehicle sales and
financing, based on his over 4 decades in
the industry. Beyond his consulting work,
Rick is an active member of the South Bay
Fire Department, contributing his expertise
and dedication to serving the community
both on land and the water. His multifaceted career reflects a deep commitment to public service, leadership, and community engagement.
