Scott McInnis is a lifelong resident of the Town of Dewitt. Having grown up in the Village of East Syracuse and subsequently moving to the Franklin Park neighborhood of the Town of Dewitt. Scott is a dedicated public safety professional and community leader. He serves as the President of the East Syracuse Fire Department, a volunteer organization that provides fire protection and emergency services to the village and surrounding areas.
In addition to his role with the fire department, Scott works as the Supervisor of Dispatch Operations and Radio System Administration at the Onondaga County Department of Emergency Communications. His career reflects a strong commitment to public safety and emergency response coordination.
Scott is a 1996 graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School and studied Radio/Television at Onondaga Community College. He has been actively involved in community affairs, notably voicing concerns over changes to fire district coverage that affected the East Syracuse Fire Department’s service area. Through his dual roles in emergency communications and fire service leadership, Scott continues to play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of his community.
